Kibbitznest is a 501(c)3 organization. Kibbitznest, Inc is dedicated to the preservation of quality human interaction. Our ultimate objective is to promote a better understanding of the world and its people by coming together face-to-face to experience being human by teaching, by learning, by listening, by reading, by arguing, by discussing, and by inquiring. We encourage a balance between face to face and electronic communication.
Books
Kibbitznest accepts donated used books primarily in the liberal arts category. A collection of rare books and signed books are also available, please ask to look through them. We carry approximately 5,000 used books, we add to the stock as we receive donations. The sale of the books along with monetary donations fund the cost of the liberal arts programming to further the mission of preserving quality face-to-face interaction.
