We Are Her.

This spring, La Caccina tackles one of their most exciting challenges yet: covering the entirety of Joni Mitchell's 1971 classic album "Blue". Get ready to hear hits like "Little Green," "River," and "All I Want" like you've never heard them before!

La Caccina is a Chicago-based women's vocal ensemble committed to musical excellence across a wide range of styles. La Caccina is dedicated to exploring the power of the female voice, and contributing new and innovative works to the often-underrepresented treble canon.

The singers of La Caccina are "world class musicians whose music-making is elegant, colorful, bold, vibrant, inspiring, and centered. Our art form greatly needs visionary and generous artists and leaders like them." -- Augusta Read Thomas, composer

"Hearing La Caccina perform was sheer pleasure. Intelligent, evocative music-making borne out of thoughtful and engaged communication between the vocalists… There was not a single moment of the performance that didn't sparkle - their joy was palpable." -- Paul French, Music Director, The William Ferris Chorale

"La Caccina approaches every piece they do with an irrepressible energy. It was a great thrill to hear them inject this energy and their own personalities into their inventive interpretation of one of my pieces.-- John Osterhagen, composer

"Engaging and captivating...performing music that spans languages, cultures, and genres, La Caccina punctuated their performance with humor and personality."  -- Claire Oxford, The Kenyon Collegian
