Kibbitznest is a 501(c)3 organization. Kibbitznest, Inc is dedicated to the preservation of quality human interaction. Our ultimate objective is to promote a better understanding of the world and its people by coming together face-to-face to experience being human by teaching, by learning, by listening, by reading, by arguing, by discussing, and by inquiring. We encourage a balance between face to face and electronic communication.

Join us as we begin our Fall Discussion Series on Thursdays from 7pm-8:15pm.

Kibbitznest Discussion Series is in collaboration with The University of Chicago Graham School to host presentations and discussions of original research. 

Cynthia Rutz received her PhD from The University of Chicago in 2013. She has worked with Mortimer Adler on his Paideia Project, an education reform project which encourages high school and elementary school teachers to help students think critically through Great Books seminar and coaching.

Ticket includes one drink and other refreshments and will support kibbitznest programs, dedicated to promoting a better understanding of the world and its people by coming together face-to face to think, to teach, to learn, to talk, to listen, to read, to argue, to discuss, to inquire, to look at, and to be human.

kibbitznest is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and wifi-free zone dedicated to the preservation of quality face-to-face human communication.
