Did Run-DMC’s cover of Walk This Way really change our culture?

Join us as Washington Post's Geoff Edgers discusses why and shares rare footage of the March, 1986 recording session that brought Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry together with rap’s first supergroup. He and local Chicago rapper, Chore Boy, will dispel the myths surrounding the song and reveal how Edgers managed to speak with such figures as L.L. Cool J, Rick Rubin, Steven Tyler, Rev. Run, Joe Perry and the Devastating Mic Controller, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels.
